- You should have fruits and vegetables for a gluten free diet
- Fishes and meats are useful for gluten free diet, except for coated or battered meat
- Plain products of dairy, like plain yogurt, cheese and plain milk are free of gluten. However, you should check the labels of flavoured dairy products as these may contain added ingredients which contain gluten.
- All of the vegetable oils, butter, nuts, seeds, spices and herbs are good for gluten free diet
- You should check for the label of gluten free when buying grains like rice, corn, arrowroot, oats, buckwheat, sorghum, amaranth, millet, teff and quinoa
- Most of the beverages are gluten free and can be used for diet, except for beer, which needs to be checked for the gluten free label
- Flours and starches are also good for diet free of gluten
